Introduction

It is important for Wixar (”we”,”our”,”Wixar” and”The WideWebVR Company”) to secure your personal data. We are committed to collecting only the data we need to provide you with the best possible service as well as maintaining its confidentiality and protection, and to helping you exercise your data rights. Wixar attaches great importance to respecting privacy, and only uses data in a responsible and confidential manner and for a specific purpose.
Being required to collect and process some of your so-called “personal” data as part of our service provision, the entire Wixar team is committed to complying with current data protection law, in particular the so-called “Informatique et Libertés” law of January 6, 1978 as amended and the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RGPD), which is in its continuity.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Wixar and details all of the personal data we collect, how we process and distribute that information, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. It is intended to be clear and easy to understand, we recommend that you read it carefully and in its entirety. To make this document easier to read, we have divided it into several parts so that you can directly find the section that applies to you, whether you are a customer (part 2) or a participant (part 3). Parts 1, 4, and 5 are common to all.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. The most current version of this policy controls our use of your data and will always be available at editor.wixar.io/legal. In the event that we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we will contact you using the email address you provided on our platform.
Any updates to this Privacy Policy are effective immediately after they are announced.

Wixar collects several types of information when you use our platform and when you visit our website. It is about:

like when you contact us via a form on our site, you communicate with our team, you sign up for a demo, you use Wixar for you or your business. The information collected includes your: name, first name, email address and photo, but also the contact details of your company, its payment information or even its telephone number.
> Data resulting from your use of the Service : we collect information about your use of Wixar. These are mainly the number of projects created, the number of participants who perform an experiment, the session timestamp concerning the use of the Service.

We may use a variety of technologies to collect and store service usage data when you use our service (as noted above), and this may include the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies, web beacons. This data is not communicated to anyone and is only used to improve the user experience (local Storage is used to allow the user to save their identifiers & preferences for future visits).


Your data protection rights

Depending on your country of residence and in accordance with the law in force, you have the right, in terms of data protection, to:
- To access, rectify, delete, limit the processing, restrict, transmit and oppose our processing of your personal data by contacting us (see part 5 - Contacting us).

The lists of participants

Some features of your Wixar account require you to download a list of participants on our platform. You can import a list of participants via a.CSV file or by entering the information of each participant manually. These lists contain personal information about your participants such as their names, first names, photos and email addresses. This data is used and processed to provide an optimal Service in accordance with this privacy policy as well as the contract we have established with you. Under no circumstances do we resell your attendee lists to third parties or use your attendee lists for purposes other than providing the Wixar service.

In this section, “your”, “you”, and “your” are used to refer to “Participants.”

At Wixar, we collect and process data on behalf of our customers. We act as subcontractors for our customers and are not responsible for their privacy policies, which may differ from those set out here. Please contact our customers for information on how they use your personal data.


Wixar collects several types of information when you use our platform and when you visit our website. It is about:

4 - Purposes/general information

What is your information used for

Wixar processes your personal information, in particular when you connect to the website/editor/web service and to VR applications (publisher or final apps), when you register, as part of your transaction or when you use the payment system.

The data we collect helps us provide, maintain, secure, and expand our services, create new services, and protect both our customers and ourselves.

In particular, this data is intended to:
- The creation and management of your account;
- The management of financial flows taking place via the platform and in particular the billing of experiences and payments as well as, in accordance with the law, the fight against terrorism and money laundering;
- Develop our services to offer you new functionalities and adapt to your needs: for this purpose, we produce statistics to monitor the audience of the pages of our site and to monitor commercial activities and user behavior on the platform. These statistics are anonymized as often as possible;
- Communicating with you (for our Customers only): WiXar may use the information we collect to communicate with you about products, services, promotions, research, surveys, surveys, news, news, updates, and events.


Recipients of data sharing

We check beforehand whether they respect their commitments to secure the data of our customers and participants.
